About Kathleen
Born and raised in Maryland, Kathleen Mauck attended the University of South Carolina, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish. During college, she interned on Capitol Hill, gaining experience with legislative and legal processes. She also spent a semester studying abroad in Alicante, Spain.
After graduating, Kathleen earned her Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America, concentrating in Comparative and International Law. In law school, she served as President of Phi Alpha Delta and was a member of the Women's Law Society. She also worked as a Rule 19-220 Student Attorney in the Catholic University of America School of Law Immigration and Refugee Advocacy Clinic, representing individuals in their immigration proceedings. While at the Clinic, she collaborated with Catholic Charities at the Texas-Mexico border to assist low-income immigrants with their legal cases.
Once admitted to practice law in Maryland, Kathleen gained experience litigating complex family law issues and negotiating disputes outside of court. She is passionate about helping children affected by family law cases.
